WebAR - Augmented Reality API for the Web

Hi all, just putting this on the WICG radar as WebAR is a prototype/pre-standard and mobile VR/AR is undergoing a very exciting time with both ARKit and ARCore now available.

I guess we will watch where both Google (WebARonARCore/WebARonARKit) and Apple’s efforts go here during the incubation phase of this new tech.

Definitely something we should bring to the Web!
